Decision

Claimant seeks damages for the loss of his property on March 3, 2017, during his incarceration at Eastern NY Correctional Facility. A trial was held in this matter on November 13, 2019 via video conferencing technology.

At the conclusion of the trial, the Court rendered a decision from the bench, for the reasons stated on the record, awarding claimant $163.00 in damages for the lost items with appropriate interest thereon from March 3, 2017. The Court further directed that, to the extent that claimant has paid a filing fee, it may be recovered pursuant to Court of Claims Act 11-a (2).

All motions not previously ruled upon were DENIED.

Now, therefore, it is

ORDERED that judgment be entered accordingly.
